About the game

CRE Tycoon is a free browser game about commercial real estate. You start as a rookie broker with $100,000 and play a 10-year career one month at a time: you win listings, find buildings for clients, collect commission cheques, then buy buildings of your own, lease them up, upgrade them, refinance them and sell them. A new month arrives every real hour, so it is built for short sessions on a phone, and it plays on a desktop too. It is made by Erik Egelko, a San Diego real estate professional with a background in property management and commercial brokerage.

  • 157 buildings in 4 districts, across multifamily, retail, office and industrial.
  • Real deal steps: make an offer, choose a down payment, take a loan, get through escrow, refinance or sell.
  • A market that moves: loan rates change, districts rise and fall, and rival investors buy the bargains you pass up.

  • Prospecting as quick games of chance: a scratch card, a prize wheel and a slot machine.
  • 14 ranks to climb, from Rookie to City Legend.
